Lucidity Analytics

Privacy Policy

Last updated 8 September 2026.

Lucidity Analytics is a one-person analytics and growth consultancy operated by Alton Phillips in New York. This page covers two separate things, and the second is the one that matters more: what this website collects, and how I handle a client's data during an engagement.

What this website collects

Analytics. This site uses Google Analytics 4 to count visits and understand which pages get read. That involves cookies and records your approximate location, device and browser, the pages you view, and how you arrived. It is aggregate traffic measurement. I do not use it to identify individual visitors and I do not run advertising or remarketing from it.

Booking a conversation. Scheduling runs through Cal.com. If you book, you give them your name, email address, timezone and anything you type into the notes field, and they pass it to me so the meeting can happen. That information is used to hold the conversation and to follow up on it. Nothing else.

What this site does not do. There is no contact form, no newsletter, no account, no login, and nothing is sold to anyone. I do not run advertising pixels here.

How client data is handled during an engagement

This is the part worth reading if you are considering working with me.

Read-only, always. Access to a client's commerce, advertising, analytics or messaging platforms is granted read-only. Nothing I do can change a campaign, an order or a customer record.

Granted and revoked by you. Wherever the platform supports it, access comes through a link or a partner relationship you approve from inside your own account — and can withdraw the same way, at any time, without telling me first.

An initial review takes no customer personal data. A first look needs order values, dates, channels and products. It does not need names, email addresses or shipping addresses, so those fields are excluded at the query rather than deleted afterwards.

Deletion. Data from an initial review is deleted within 30 days unless an engagement begins. During an engagement, data lives in a cloud project under my control or yours, as agreed, and is deleted on request and at the end of the engagement.

Never combined, never sold. A client's data is used only to produce analysis for that client. It is not aggregated across clients, not used to benchmark one against another, not sold, and not shared with anyone.

Where a signed agreement is in place, that agreement and its data-protection terms govern the engagement. This page describes the practice; the contract is what binds it.

Who else touches data

Each of these is a service provider acting on my instructions, not a party I sell anything to.

Your choices

You can ask me what I hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted, and I will do it. You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser opt-out or by blocking cookies. If you are in a jurisdiction with specific rights over your personal data — the UK, the EU, or California among others — those rights apply here and I will honor them without requiring you to cite them.

Changes, and how to reach me

If this policy changes materially, the date at the top changes with it.
